Originally, This was built to be a ffmpeg-less video streaming platform. (ffmpeg is a large video) But with the introduction of video clipping, I’ve slowly introduced ffmpeg into the project as its needed to digest video & audio frames into a container with reasonable speed.
The original pipeline still is ffmpeg-free as its just a injest of WHIP frames
